The Panelboard Group was founded on the principle that professionals recommending electrical contractors need to understand the trade from the inside. Our background spans decades of combined experience in commercial and residential electrical work, from installation and inspection to systems design and code compliance. When we recommend a contractor, we understand the standards they work to, the certifications their crew carries, and what executed electrical work actually looks like.
Industry expertise matters because the difference between adequate electrical work and exceptional electrical work is often invisible until something fails. A residential panel upgrade might pass inspection either way, but one installation protects against future load growth while the other becomes a bottleneck. An EV charger that works and one that works safely are two different outcomes. Our background allows us to make those distinctions for the companies we recommend.
Credentials
The contractors we recommend train through the Electrical Training ALLIANCE, the joint IBEW–NECA apprenticeship and journeyman program, which is one of the credentials we screen for before adding a firm to our referral list.
